Simpro eForms end-of-life

On 22/01/25 Simpro stated:

“When is the ‘end of life’ date for eForms?

• You will no longer be able to access your eForms account from 30 June 2025.

• eForms will no longer be supported from 28 February 2025. Support will still answer questions but eForms will not receive enhancements or bug fixes from this date.”

What does this mean for you?

By the 30th June 2025 you will need to have migrated your eForms.

Onto your form from Simpro and back into Simpro from your form.

We can retrieve data from any field in Simpro to prepopulate relevant fields; ensuring data consistency when completing the form.

As well as attaching the completed PDF in Simpro we can also update any field in Simpro with data from the form.

You can then report on those fields, run automatic notifications based on the fields, get better use of failure points, etc. All without having to manually input into Simpro fields from a static PDF.

Simpro remains your single source of truth with form data updated to Simpro and actionable by Simpro, not locked away on PDFs.

How your form will work

Just select the custom form in Simpro when creating the job and it will be available to the engineer.

One click from Simpro Mobile takes your engineer to the form.

The form will be pre-populated with data from Simpro (such as customer address, assets, plant etc), saving your engineer time.

The engineer completes the form through a very mobile friendly interface and submits.

Data from the completed form can then feed back to Simpro to update asset info etc.

Further logic can be performed to sum up, apply pricing, display notes to your client dependent upon form data etc.

The completed pdf with your layout and branding is added to the job in Simpro as an attachment.
